Each version of Photoshop and ImageReady has different filenames for its preferences files, so if you have multiple versions of Photoshop and ImageReady installed, each stores its own preferences settings in a different set of files. Adobe Adobe
To delete and re-create the preferences files, start Photoshop or ImageReady and, as it starts, hold down Control+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS), and then click Yes to the prompt 'Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?' or 'Delete the Adobe ImageReady Settings file?'
